David Arthur Lough, 87, of Waveland died suddenly July 24, 1959 at the home of his son, Parke Lough of near Waveland. He was a native of Parke County, born April 11, 1872 to Henry H. and Sarah Budd Lough. He was married May 30, 1893 to Lulu Aker in Waveland. Mr. Lough was a member of the Waveland Presbyterian Church, 56 year member of Waveland Masonic Lodge 300. He lived in and near Waveland most of his life. Survivors include the son, Parke; daughter Mrs. John Woodell of Indianapolis; sister, Mrs. Garrie Dillman, Waveland and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son in 1944 and his wife in 1954. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, Rev. CN McBrayer officiated and burial was in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Pall bearers were Bill Shular; Hubert Shular; Harrison Enoch; Norman Dillman; Jon Foster and Tom Durham. - transcribed by kbz
